Use of the PowerStoreLT web store control panel:
 

On the left side of the control panel pages are the control panel options:

Categories:

Details - do not use this option.

Sub-Categories - to add, modify, or delete sub-categories click on this option. On the web site the sub-categories display as categories.

Add this Sub-Category - select the radio button for this option. Select the category name from the Category Name drop down (there should only be one choice). Be sure the selection in the Sub-Category box is "Select Sub-Category". Then type the name of the Sub-Category in the Sub-Category Name field. Then click the "Modify Sub-Category" button.

Modify this Sub-Category - select a Sub-Category from the Sub-Category drop down list. The respective fields will be filled in. Then change the name of the Sub-Category in the Sub-Category Name field. Then click the "Modify Sub-Category" button.

Delete this Sub-Category - select a Sub-Category from the Sub-Category drop down list. The respective fields will be filled in. Then select the radio button "Delete this Sub-Category". A message will appear asking for you to confirm the "delete" instruction. Click "OK" if you wish the Sub-Category to be deleted. Then click the "Modify Sub-Category" button.

Update - after all changes have been made to the Sub-Categories then click "Update".

   
Products:

Details - to add, modify, or delete products click this option:

Add a Product - be sure the Product field says "Select Product".

1. Upload Images - must be done AFTER a product has been added to the database. After you have entered a product into the database select that product from the Product drop down list. The fields will be populated. Then select "Click here to upload images".

A page will appear titled "Upload Image files". Click on the "Browse" button for each image and located the image on your computer. Do this for each size image, then select "Upload".

It is recommend, but not required, that your image sizes be:
Zoom Image - 450 x 450 pixels
Detail Image - 250 x 250 pixels
Thumbnail Image - 100 x 100 pixels

2. SKU - this is a required field and is used by the store to identify your products. The SKU must be alphanumeric with no spaces and no special characters.

3. Owner - do not use

4. Select Categories (Sub-Categories) - select one or more categories. Hold the "Ctrl" down for multiple selections. If no category is selected the product will not appear in your store.

5. Select Options - a selection does not have to be made. To select one or more options hold the "Ctrl" key down and make multiple selections.

6. Display Product - Yes will display the product in your store, No will not.

7. MFG Id - do not use.

8. Model Number - do not use.

9. Product Name - enter the product name for your product. The field is alphanumeric and spaces are allowed. However, DO NOT use quotes " as this will cause an error and your product will not be added to the database. Also, limit the product name to forty-five (45) characters and do not use special characters. The space and hyphen are acceptable.

10. Description - enter the verbiage or text for your product. However, DO NOT use quotes " as this will cause an error and your product will not be added to the database. HTML code is allowed in the Description field. To begin using HTML code enter <ul>. For bullet points enter <li>. For line breaks enter <br>. To end HTML code enter </UL>. More information can be found regarding HTML code by consulting the Internet.

11. Price - enter the selling price as a decimal number, no dollar sign $. Such as 29.50.

For multiple price levels enter qty1:price1,qty2:price2,qty3:price3 etc.
Example: 1:15.50,500:13.00,1000:12.00
The first quantity must always be 1. (see Minimum Quantity below).

12. Cost - do not use

13. Remittance - do not use

14. Unit Price - do not use

15. Price 1 - do not use

16. Price 2 - do not use

17. Price 3 - do not use

18. Weight - very important, the weight is used in calculating shipping charges and if left blank may cause unusual results. Enter the weight as a decimal number per SKU. For example 8 ounces would be entered as .5 or 13 ounces would be entered as .8125.

19. Color - do not use

20. Size - do not use

21. Discount - do not use

22. Discount Amount - do not use

23. Detail Image - will be filled in when you upload the images.

24. Thumbnail Image - will be filled in when you upload the images.

25. Zoom Image - will be filled in when you upload the images.

26. Minimum Quantity - this is the minimum number of SKU units that you will sell per order. If left blank the default is one (1).

27. Quantity Available - do not use

28. Quantity Sold - do not use

29. User 1 through User 10 - do not use

Select "Add this Product" and click the "Modify Product" button to add a product.
Select "Modify this Product" and click the "Modify Product" button to modify an existing product.
Select "Delete this Product", answer OK to the pop-up, and click the "Modify Product" button.

 

Colors - to add, modify, or delete color choices for a SKU click this option.

1. Select the product that you wish to add a color choice from the Product drop down list.

2. Select a color format from the Color Format drop down list.

One Color Per Line will display the color choices as radio button, one color per line, on the product detail page.

All Colors On One Line will display the color choices as radio buttons on one line on the product detail page. If there is no enough room for one line then the choices will be wrapped to the next line.

Pull-Down Box will display the color choices as a pull down box on the product detail page.

3. If you have saved a previous color choice selection then select the color file name from the Color File Name drop down list and the color fields will be populated.

4. Starting with Color 01 enter your color choices in the sequence you wish them to be displayed.

5. If you would like to store certain color choices, to be used later, then enter a file name in the Color File Name field.

6. Add this Color - if selected will add the color choices displayed to the selected product and if the Color File Name field is populated store the selection for future use.

7. Modify this Color - if selected will add the color choices displayed to the selected product and if the Color File Name field is populated modify the selection for future use.

8. Delete this Color - if selected will delete the color choices displayed from the selected product and if the Color File Name field is populated delete the selection from future use. The system will pop-up a message confirming your choice to delete.

9. Click the Modify Color button to proceed.


Sizes - to add, modify, or delete size choices for a SKU click this option. Note - this size refers to apparel sizes only.

1. Select the product you wish to apply size choices from the Product drop down list.

2. Select a size format from the Size Format drop down list. This choice will determine how the sizes are displayed on your detail product page.

One Size Per Line - the sizes will be displayed as input boxes, one size per line.

All Sizes On One Line - the sizes and input boxes will be displayed all on one line. If the space is not large enough for all the sizes then the sizes will wrap on to the next line.

Table - the sizes are displayed above the input boxes in a horizontal fashion. This is the recommended display method.

3. Select a size file name from the Size File Name drop down list if you have previously saved a size sequence. If you do not wish to use a previously saved selection the be sure the field is on Select File.

4. Enter the sizes for the selected SKU starting with 01.

Name - this is the name of the size that will be displayed on the product detail page. E.g. S M L XL etc.

Qty Avail. - enter the initial quantity available or enter zero.

Qty Sold - enter zero

Price Added - if there is an upcharge for a size enter the value as a two (2) number, no dollar sign. This is the upcharge only and not the total price. For example the upcharge for XXL might be 1.50.

5. Add this Size - if selected will add the size choices displayed to the selected product and if the Size File Name field is populated store the selection for future use.

7. Modify this Size - if selected will add the size choices displayed to the selected product and if the Size File Name field is populated modify the selection for future use.

8. Delete this Size - if selected will delete the size choices displayed from the selected product and if the Size File Name field is populated delete the selection from future use. The system will pop-up a message confirming your choice to delete.

9. Click the Modify Size button to proceed.




Options - to add, modify, or delete option choices for a SKU click this option.

An option can be any addition to the SKU that you can develop. For example, it might be a second imprint placement.

1. To create a new option select "Select Option" from the Option drop down list.

2. Enter an option name in the Option Name box.

3. Select a display format.

All On One Line - will display the option selection radio buttons and text on one line. If there is not enough room then the line will wrap to the next line.

One Per Line - will display the option selection radio buttons and text on individual lines.

Pull-Down Box - will display the option selection and text as a drop down box.

Text Box - will display the option name and an input box that will accept alphanumeric information. Particularly useful for personalization.

4. Select Yes or No for the required field. Yes - the option must be selected and the default is the first selection. No - an option selection does not have to be selected.

5. Starting with the first line enter the different choices for this option.

Value - this is the value that will be stored with the SKU in the shopping cart.

Price - this is the upcharge for selecting this feature of this option.

Weight - some features of an option may increase the weight of the SKU. Enter the additional weight in this field.

Text - this is the value that will be displayed on the product detail page in the store.

Delete - you can delete individual lines of an option without deleting the entire option. Check the delete box, select Modify this Option, and click the Modify Option button.

6. Add this Option - if selected will add the option choices displayed to the selected product.

7. Modify this Option - if selected will add the option choices displayed to the selected product.

8. Delete this Option - if selected will delete the option choices displayed from the selected product. The system will pop-up a message confirming your choice to delete.

9. Click the Modify Option button to proceed.
